A $30 fee on returned checks. We participate in the Lane County District Attorney's check enforcement program.

New in 2008: A Lane County Parks pass is required for all boat ramps from Hamblin and downriver. Cost is $3. Annual passes are available.

Booking Policy: In order to avoid any unpleasant misunderstandings down the road we like to make our policies and practices clear right from the start.
Reservations: We accept tentative reservations with your phone call or letter requesting space on a particular date. These penciled in dates will be held for 15 days. At the end of this grace period unconfirmed reservations will automatically be re-opened on a first come first serve basis.
Deposits: A reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit.
Cancellations: Once you sign up with us we lose the opportunity to sell your space to other individuals or groups. Therefore, should you be forced to cancel your trip, all deposits are non-refundable unless we are able to reschedule your dates with another party. Alternate guests are welcome however.
Final Payment: Final payment is due 30 days prior to your scheduled launch date.
Doubling Up Smaller Multi-Day Trips: On smaller group reservations for overnight trips (3 or less in the party) we reserve the right to add other guests to your camp. This means that fishing on the river is still private, one guide and one boat for your party, but that camp facilities would be shared and meals served together.
Non-Performance: We reserve the right to cancel an excursion due to poor weather, unsafe river conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. If cancelled, we will refund in full or apply your deposit/payment to another mutually agreed upon trip date.Industry Affiliations: McKenzie River Guides, Oregon Guides and Packers, Oregon Trout, Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF), Trout Unlimited, Association of Northwest Steelheaders.
